THE SMALL BUSINESS AWARDS
NATIONAL TOUR 2018
Wil Sabin Entertainment was contracted by Precedent Productions to create an exciting, unique entertainment program for the 2018 Australian Small Business Local Awards Tour.
The Tour takes place over 22 dates throughout the year at some of Australia's largest RSL and Leagues Clubs with most events averaging 900 guests.
We auditioned singers and dancers throughout Sydney across multiple days and saw an incredibly high standard of performers.
To headline our entertainment we chose Viral Singing sensation Greg Gould for our male vocalist and up and coming Musical Theatre Star Kirrah Amosa as our female Vocalist.
We were asked to create two show-stopping mini productions for each performer adding two back up dancers to each show.
For the Opening of the awards we have Kirrah and her fabulous dancers Paris Cavanagh and Shivawn Joubert who opens the show with a Beyonce Medley - giving audiences the full "Beyonce Experience" with a slick choreographed performance using songs "Work it Out, Love on Top and Crazy in love" - It is the perfect way to WOW the audience and start the night off with a bang!
After Dinner is served Greg comes out and performs a ballad - Purple Rain, which you may have seen him perform on Australia's Got Talent ( He was Runner Up on the hit channel 7 Show ). He his joined by our fabulous dancers to perform the Tina Turner Classic "Land of 1000 Dances, Followed by the smash Bruno Mars hit "Happy"
To finish off the entertainment right before the final winner is announced we have Kirrah back on stage - this time singing a power ballad " Never Enough" from the movie "Greatest Showman" - in a beautiful floor length gown this number always leaves audiences breathless.
We created original audio soundtracks for the event and worked with Edward Said from Kings Cross Music on all the audio to create high end, seamless audio. We also recorded all backing vocals to create a fuller live sound on the night.
For the lighting design we wanted to create a different mood for every song - along with original video content for each moment , we worked alongside David Thomas from Crystal Productions on this fabulous lighting and video plot.
The Awards are running through till December this year and have been a huge success thus far.
